Introducing Team 2 from IPB University, consisting of Natasya, Daniela, Rizal, and Salmia. As recipients of the Mutual+ Scholarship, we will be implementing the Mutualplus Social Project 2025 with the theme DREAMCRAFT. This initiative is organized by PT Mutualplus Global Resources, a company that not only supports education through scholarships but also encourages meaningful contributions to society.
For this project, we are collaborating with Yayasan Bina Tauhid Darul Miftahudin, a social welfare institution established in 2010 in Hambaro Village, Nanggung District, Bogor Regency. The foundation focuses on the rehabilitation of people with mental disorders (ODGJ) through spiritual guidance and life skills training. Currently, the foundation houses around 80 residents from diverse backgrounds, including those suffering from severe depression, loss of loved ones, divorce, and referrals from the social services department. In addition, it also serves as a shelter for abandoned children in need of care and attention.
Over the course of four activity days, May 1st, 4th, 11th, and 18th, 2025, we will carry out a series of activities under the theme DREAMCRAFT: Creation and Hope to Build a Better Future for ODGJ, involving 15 residents in various creative and productive sessions. The program is designed as a space for self expression, skills development, and confidence-building for the participants. More than just a form of rehabilitation, DREAMCRAFT also opens opportunities for economic independence and offers the broader community a new perspective viewing ODGJ as individuals with potential who deserve empowerment.
The DREAMCRAFT program is a manifestation of our social responsibility as recipients of the Mutual+ Scholarship, as well as a reflection of one of the key visions of PT Mutualplus Global Resources to shape a young generation that excels academically and possesses strong social empathy. With a spirit of togetherness and compassion, we hope this initiative becomes a first step toward a more inclusive environment for ODGJ, and serves as an inspiration for the wider community to care more deeply about mental health issues.
